About ADCO Roofing And Waterproofing

ADCO Roofing and Waterproofing was established in 1989 with an emphasis on providing our clients with excellent service, workmanship and the best products on the market today. To achieve this requires in depth knowledge of roofing technologies, a well equipped, organized and dedicated field and office personnel. We are servicing commercial, industrial buildings and and multi-family residential home owner associations.

    The roofing industry is evolving and we are evolving with it, we are constantly educating ourselves on the latest systems, products and services available to roofing contractors. We are affiliated with nationwide as well as local organizations that are on the front line of the roofing industry.
  • To provide the customer with a superior product.
    We are approved applicators and installers of the major roofing manufacturers on the market today and are able to provide our commercial customers with systems guarantees on labor, material and workmanship. Obtaining approved applicator status is not easy and is only achieved by a few selected contractors.
  • To create, develop, and maintain lasting relationships with our customers.
    Many of our customers have been with us for fifteen plus years. They value our services as much as we value their business and together we have been through the construction booms of the late 80’s, late 90’s & mid 2000’s. We were always on schedule and never caused delays in project completion:
  1. The Northridge quake of 1994: We inspected (at no cost) all our roofing projects affected by the quake and provided detailed reports which helped our clients deal with their insurance companies.
  2. The El Nino rain of 1998: We accommodated all of our established clients with a 36 hour response time to all emergency calls. Our employees worked seven days a week, sometimes twelve to fourteen hours a day, but we did not leave any of our clients “out in the rain”.
  3. The record setting rainfall of 2004-2005: During the unpredictable rainfall of 2004-05, we were able to continue to provide our established customers with the reliable and prompt service they’ve come to expect. And again, none of them were left “out in the rain”.
  4. The great recession of 2008-2009: Again, no customers were left “out in the rain”.

We are a fully staffed, financially strong contractor and a leader in our industry. We can perform repairs, roof evaluations, preventive maintenance programs, complete re-roofs and more.

Dmitri Triphon

President
Dmitri was born in Odessa Ukraine. After graduating for the Construction Institute of Odessa with a  Civil Engineering degree, he immigrated to the US in 1975 and started Adco Roofing in 1989. He currently serves as President. Dmitri values the success of his employees and is responsible for the strong family atmosphere at ADCO.

Eduard Mochman

Business Development Director
Eduard has been in the construction industry for over 40 years, and is as outgoing as they come. He specializes in marketing ADCO to new customers face-to-face. He has worked in the roofing industry for years, but his focus is on meeting people rather than technical skills. If you’d like get a visit from Eduard, don’t hesitate to contact him! He usually has some delicious chocolate in his pockets (hint)

Andrew Triphon

Vice President
Andrew has been involved with ADCO Roofing for the majority of his life. He was appointed to Vice President in 2005, and now runs the day-to-day operations. Prior to becoming a VP, Andrew finished his BA at UCSD, then completed an MBA at Loyola Marymount while working full-time. Since taking over management of ADCO, Andrew has tripled the size of the company, and plans to continue to build on the strong existing customer base.

Ed Deaton

Project Manager
Ed has been in the roofing industry for over 25 years. He has completed thousands of square feet of roofing and waterproofing installation, and is familiar with all types of systems. Over the last 5 years, his focus has changed to primarily repair and maintenance work and has been managing the department. However, due to his successes he recently transitioned into a more sales focused project manager position. Ed’s meticulous attention to detail and strong work ethic make him the ideal project manager.

Kyle Harvey

Customer Service Manager
A 4th generation roofer, born and raised in Utah, Kyle started in the roofing business in 2002 working on tear offs during high school. He advanced to foreman, then project manager and sales while finishing college. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in 2016 from Weber State University in Professional Sales. Kyle is married with two beautiful young girls, and enjoys family activities with them in his free time.
Juan-Flores

Juan Flores

Customer Service Superintendent
Juan has over 20 years of roofing experience. He has worked for several roofing companies, learning about shingles and hot mop tiles before joining ADCO Roofing and Waterproofing in 1995. Juan is a hard worker and is very proud of working for ADCO. He gives his best every day. He's a proud father who put her daughter through Berkeley where she became a doctor. Juan is a true family man and he enjoys supporting his local church.
Edgar-Gonzalez

Edgar Gonzalez

Lead Production Superintendent
Edgar joined ADCO in 2013 with a background in construction. He started as an apprentice, learned the ropes of roofing and waterproofing quickly, and worked his way up to Lead Production Superintendent. Edgar enjoys the variety of projects the trade offers and strives to provide superior quality workmanship to Customers. He's proud of all the work he's done so far that allowed ADCO to grow into the successful business it is today. He's a family man and loves to spend time with his son visiting fun places.
Kat Williams

Katalin Williams

Director of Marketing
As a Director of Marketing, Kat brings over 10 years of experience in marketing and analytics working primarily in the manufacturing industry. Prior to joining ADCO in 2016, Kat managed the marketing department at Dilbeck Real Estate. Before Dilbeck, at Arc Machines, Inc., she was responsible to building marketing strategies used to drive future company growth. In her free time, Kat enjoys spending time with her son and making the world’s largest rubber band ball.

Julio Aguirre

Superintendent
Julio has 15 years of experience in the roofing industry and is currently a Superintendent with ADCO. His largest job completed to date was Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas, completed in 2006. Julio specializes in single-ply roofing, but is always excited to learn about the newest systems and up for a new challenge. He completed his Associate’s degree at West Los Angeles College in 1998 and loves to play basketball.
Ray-Aguilar

Ray Aguilar

Lead Production Superintendent
Ray has started at ADCO in 2011 as a Driver/Assistant and has worked his way up to the Lead Production Superintendent position. He has a solid background in roofing, waterproofing, and construction. He’s a creative thinker which makes him the go-to person for the most complicated repairs. In his free time, Ray enjoys riding dirt bikes and the lake toys with his fiancé and kids.

Dan Huertas

Project Manager
Dan Huertas joined ADCO in 2016 as our new Project Manager. He has been in the roofing industry for over 11 years. He has worked with most residential homebuilders in Southern California, homeowner associations, and property management companies. He brings his knowledge and expertise in the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial roof systems. He prides himself in being attentive to clients and exceeding their expectations. He enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his family.

Minerva Bernal

Contract Administrator
Minerva has been with ADCO since the turn of the century. Her responsibilities include everything administrative, from AR/AP to managing the day to day operations of ADCO’s main office in North Hollywood. Her attention to detail and strong organizational skills enable her to handle the constant work load the sales and operations staffs create. In her free time Minerva is an avid reader.

Stephen Deichler

Estimator
Stephen joined ADCO in 2011. Prior to ADCO he had spent 25 years in the roofing industry working as a Project Manager/Estimator for local roofing contractors and working as an Estimator for a couple of roofing consultants, learning as much as he could about the roofing and waterproofing industry. During that time he has seen roofing installed all over California as well as numerous locations across the Continental U.S. He has experience with and a strong understanding of all types of commercial and residential roofing systems. Stephen's favorite sports are American football to watch and occasionally play as well as playing paintball.

Mark Philpott

Project Manager
Mark has joined ADCO in 2013. Prior to that he had been a project manager in the roofing industry for over seven years. During that time he has contracted in excess of $10 million dollars of work ranging from heavy industrial to commercial and residential high-rises. He has experience with, and a strong understanding of all types of commercial and residential roofing systems and strong relationships with most of the industry’s leading manufacturers. Mark is an avid outdoorsman and snow sports enthusiast.
